Paddle the Grand River in Eaton Rapids!
To Celebrate the 20th anniversay of Geocaching, this community celebration event will take to the water, and paddle in canoe or kayak from Mill Point Park to Bunker Road Canoe Landing.
Meet at Mill Point Park at 12:00. No boat, no problem. Boats are availble to rent for $25 single kayak, or $30 double kayak.
You can call 517-719-0287 to reserve your boat.
If you want to bring your own boat, it is $10 for transportation between the two parks.
There are 3 caches already on the river, and FOUR NEW CACHES will be added as part of the event.
Everyone who RSVP with a Will Attend will recieve a prize pack including snacks, sunscreen, and swag. There will also be a unactivated Geocoin for one lucky attendant who posts a Will Attend before August 19th.
If you do not wish to paddle, land lubbers are still welcome to see us off from Mill Point Park (114 Mill St. Eaton Rapids) and claim the find.
