Geocache Description:

Bring your own pen and please seal the log tightly!

This cache will take you to the site of what was formerly known as Packhams Mill. Located on what is now known as Mill Road, the Packhams Mill  was  built  in  1860  by  E.D.  Churchill  and  sold  in  1866  to  the  Packham  brothers,  William  and  Raymond. Grist  mills  were  very  important  part  to  any  growing  farming  community  as  they  allowed  easy  access  to  flour  for  farmers, and the Packham  brothers  introduced  the  grain  scouring  process  to  the  state  of  Wisconsin. The  small  circle  of  rocks  that is located just off the small gravel path is all that remains of an old silo.

While you're in the area you can check out one of the awesome DAMA Storm Drain Murals at the corner of Mill Road and Woodland Drive.
