The KB trail is on an old railway line which was built in 1911 by the Canadian Pacific Railway at the height of the railway building boom. The line ran roughly 120 km from Guelph to Goderich (G2G) and once transported goods and passengers to Lake Huron. The line was abandoned in 1990. Now it's a great trail well maintained for biking or walking with snowmobiling in the winter.
