This park is in honor of Leah Chiles for her amazing achievements and trailblazing initiatives in Kenilworth during the early 1900s. After stopping to find the cache, consider taking a minute to read the plaque outlining her many contributions to the community. If you turn around from the plaque you can view her home that has been placed on the National Register of Historic places. It's very interesting...a Spanish Colonial Revival Villa.
