Plans for an extended Labor Day outing went awry, so we thought we'd take a jaunt around Central Montana, and place a few caches to increase the opportunity for others to gain a few SMILEYs. Having cached in Fort Benton earlier, we decided to take MT Hwy. 80 toward Geraldine and Stanford, and possibly place a few caches along this route. The "Welcome to Geraldine" sign seemed like an obvious place for a cache, so now it has one. Cache is small, so there is no scribble stick in the cache. These ARE the prairie lands of Montana, so be mindful of the possibility for "Snakes On the Plains" if you visit in the heat of spring / summer.
