I've heard this phrase used quite a lot before: "don't start that habit, it's a slippery slope to worse things" or "if we do so-and-so political thing, we'll end up doing this other, more extreme thing, since these policies are such a slippery slope." Well, I took that phrase literally. This is really just a slippery slope. Like, an actual hill, with loose rocks, no grip points, and now, a cache at the top. Maybe there's some metaphor somewhere here about how 'one slip can often lead to a long slide' or something, but I'm not interested in finding said metaphor, if it exists at all. I just want you to find a cache.
Container is a black bison tube, held in place with paracord (of course, since all my caches are). Despite its size, the container actually does hold a pencil, so do not fear, those of you foolish enough to approach my domain without a solution to the BYOP problem! The slope really is slippery, but the climb is still fairly easy, and one side of the hill is a piece of cake to summit; you can go "the fun way" if you want (I did when hiding the cache), but the difficulty/terrain is set for someone who actually works smarter, not harder. No poisonous plants or biting wildlife here, and parking is very easy at the base of the hill (there's a convenient pulloff road), but you are in plain sight from the road, so stealth *may* be necessary. Although, most people on Joinertown probably wouldn't be surprised to see a stranger poking around a roadside hill, so you're probably fine. Please replace cache as found to maintain stealth, but the paracord should reduce risks of washout. Thanks for stopping by!
