Each cache in this series is dedicated to a new phrase, definition, or policy that Americans are seeing across the nation due to Covid-19. Whether you believe it’s a pandemic or a dempanic, we are truly seeing new policies and phrases being put in place and being called “the new normal." Each stop in this series has a nice place to pull off the road in the name of safety. You will be looking for different types and sizes of containers as well as different methods of hiding. Each one of these caches is unique with humor and fun being the main objectives. Be sure to read the complete cache description to see if any hints have been included. Please feel free to include any “new normal” observations you have experienced in your written log.
Many restaurants, (ones that are still open) have started charging an extra dollar if you order a dish with bacon. What? What a clever way to make a little extra money. How many bacon and egg dishes are ordered every day at waffle houses all over America? If they’re going to charge extra money for two little strips of pig meat, shouldn’t it be served in its own little tin? That’s actually a good idea, different size collector tins for extra money.
Please be safe. Watch out for snakes, ticks, hogs, Bigfoot, thorns, poisonous plants, and all the other regular East Texas hazards. Above all, keep an eye on the young-uns. Please leave a good log and please inform the CO if maintenance is needed.
