Geocache Description:

Make sure you keep little cachers close as this can be a very busy area with traffic coming through during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you are allergic to cats or just don't like cats do not attempt to search for this cache.

This cache is close to a “hotel” for cats.
By close I mean a couple hundred feet from GZ.
There are several wild cats that reside nearby and have for many years.
The cats are wild but looked after, fed well, given water and even have their own “hotel”.
The hotel is not visible from GZ due to the shed blocking your view.
The cats here are wild and will run from people.
They use the storm drains to travel the lot.
The best time to spot them is early in the morning just before the sun comes up.
I cannot guarantee that you will see any cats here when you visit.
I normally see the cats when I come thorugh here around 5:30 a.m. every morning.
I was stopping to feed the cats but no longer due after someone new decided to take care of the cats and made it very obvious my help was not appreciated or wanted.
They stole my containers 4 days in a row (6-11-22 til 6-15-22) and decided to let it be known they were feeding the cats by leaving a large container of food on 6-17-22 and food in dishes here every day.
The container of food was not here before I started feeding the cats and thier food dishes were always empty and the cats would eagerly eat the cat food Ieft for them.
I miss visiting my buddies every morning and droping off food for them but am happy that they are being looked after.
Here at my house we have 4 cats (all girls) of our own and one older guy (19 years old) that visits (he comes inside) every day.
We also have 4 ferrets, 2 male and 2 females.
Plus 5 very large goldfish that live in a 260 gallon pond. :)

Sadly the cats that where here are no longer here.
The cat hotel has been removed.
It's strange to not see the wildcats after 26 years of seeing them here.
This cache is now in there memory.

The cache you seek is a small lock and lock filled with cat toys.

Byop as the cache has no room for one.

Important information:
Some will find this area familiar after finding Wild Cats Cache 2020 (481) (GC8T43C)
My apologies if you have been here before but Wild Cats Cache 2020 (481) was stolen twice in its short life.
That's 2 birdhouses I had to build and decorate in a 3 month period.
I cannot afford to continuously build and replace a decorated house that keeps getting stolen.
Lock and locks are much cheaper to replace but not nearly as creative as the old house that was nearby.
