Resident Office & District building is a colonial-era building located alongside Kingsway that served as top government administrative office where the Miri Resident and District Office is located since the 1950s. It is vacant at the moment after the government offices relocated to a new building.
The main building structure hasn't changed much except the old windows has been removed for modern amenities like air conditioning since it was built. There was a clock above the main entrance of the building but that clock had since been removed. There are plans to locate a museum regarding the history of Miri in the building.
