Road trips are fun! Nothing like getting on the open road and picking up some caches along the way. Over time, those counties really start to add up. As of the creation of this cache, I have found caches in 477 different US counties.
To qualify for this cache:
- You must have found at least one cache of any type in at least 400 US counties in your caching career.

What about other countries like Spain or Guatemala?
Sorry, only counties in the United States of America count towards this challenge. That's why they are called counties.
What if I found 400 caches in one county?
Nice job! That counts as one county. Just go find at least one cache in 399 more counties and you will qualify. You can do it. I believe in you.
What counts as a county?
This sounds like a silly question, but it's actually pretty complicated. The answer is: whatever the Project GC Checker counts as a county.

Do I have to physically find this cache and write my caching name on the paper log?
You bet you do! No armchair logging allowed.
Can I log this if I find it but I don't meet the requirements?
No. That's not how challenges work.
Can I pre-sign this before I qualify?
Yep, the rules state you can do this. Log it as a note until you qualify and then you can log it as a find on the day you qualify.
Does Washington, D.C. count?
IT DOES!! Washington D.C. is considered a county! I have found a cache there, and if you have, it counts as a county!
