Everyone has heard of a D.U.I. (Driving Under the Influence) but have you heard of a D.W.I.C? As a local police dispatcher we call this "Driving While In Collegedale". Collegedale PD is pretty strict about enforcing speed limits in the city. And like to hand out tickets. Also they are strict on cell phone use & seatbelts. I got "pulled over" in the Collegedale Wal Mart parking lot a few years back while geocaching because I wasn't wearing a seatbelt. I had just gotten out and signed a log, and was driving about 550ft away for the next cache. I didn't get a ticket, because "professional courtesy" is a thing. Sorry not sorry. I know the FTF race will be on, but try not to get a D.W.I.C
Similar acronyms exist for 2 of the other smaller citites in Hamilton County for the exact same reason.

***Little side backstory - I hid this cache while having to use this pull off area to turn around while attempting to grab GC16C5W Look out DEADMANS CURVE by Flagg2007 , which due to heavy speeding traffic at 4pm on a Sunday I wasn't able to. Those drivers apparently aren't aware of the potential for a D.W.I.C. I will make another attempt at the cache another day.
