Geocache Description:

Beginning with the summer of 2019, PAGA (Pittsburgh Area Geocachers Association) has decided to start to honor those members that have reached a caching milestone.  The fourth installment of PAGA Honors wrapped up on September 30th.  This installment ran from July 1st to September 30th. The forth cache, that is being placed in North Park, is honoring 5 more of our members that reached milestones over the last 3 months.  Those members that reached a milestone during the summer are:

ImJustSnipeHunting.  He reached 250 finds this summer.  His milestone cache was GC3BQTJ - Addiction #8

Jackhoo76.  He reached 3000 finds this summer.  His milestone cache was GC30B9Z - Kiss It Good-bye!

BearingGirl.  She reached 4000 finds this summer.  Her milestone cache was GC8ZZMX - Tony Blair

Frank&Michele.  They reached 5000 finds this summer.  Their milestone cache was GC2XWDB - Park Quarry Cache

Sock_Monkey_Chick.  She reached 250 finds this summer.  Her milestone cache was GC3RGXA - Pump n Rump

These members will be presented with an award and a wooden nickel congratulating them on reaching these milestones. Congratulations geocachers for reaching these milestones this past winter and summer!

The geocache that you are searching for in North Park.  The cache is a medium sized lock n lock container with a geocaching label on the outside.  The cache that you are seeking is off the beaten path for the North Park Trail (Red Blaze).  The cache is located off of the main red trail along an abandoned section of red trail.  The cache is less then 10 feet from the trail as it is hidden inside a downed tree.  When placing the cache back into the down tree, please make sure it is all the way down.  North Park is open from sunrise to 12 Midnight, 7 days a week, 365 days.  There will be 2 sets of parking coordinates for this cache.  The ones closest will be available when North Park Road is open in the spring, summer, and fall, while the 2nd parking coordinates will be where you have to park in the winter time as North Park Road is blocked to vehicle traffic.  Also, there might appear to be better parking and closer parking along North Park Road, but do not park your car there.  Please use the listed parking coordinates to leave your car.  There is also a sweet FTF prize for that individual that was first to this cache.
