Welcome to the Blackford Greenway.The trail starts at the south end of Blackford High School property and goes for 2 miles. It ends behind the shopping area at the intersection of N. Walnut St. and Park St. The trail is paved with asphalt and moves through flat land surrounded by agricultural fields and wooded areas.
The trail features: park benches, signs explaning area history and nature, a story walk-- a series of display boards featuring a child's book-- andpaving blocks painted by young, local artists.
The cache is a micro, so you will need a pen to sign the log. There is no room to exchange stash. However, if interested, there is a FTF trinket hidden between the post and a wooden stake.
Please practice CITO (cache in, trash out). There is a trash barrel at the north end of the trail near the high school soccer field.
