Geocache Description:

We just moved to the area from out east, and one of the first things we discovered was a disk golf course within walking distance of our new home! Normally we like to combine trying out new courses with finding geocaches, so when we came to play we were shocked that there weren't any caches placed in this park! Not to worry, we decided to place one of our own.

The Rockwood Central Park Disk Golf Course is a great place to pick up the sport: it's flat and accessible with very few obstacles (though, the first time we played here, a particularly strong gust of wind lifted my frisbee from below and hurled it into a neighboring backyard! Fortunately, the owner of the house invited me in to search and I made it through the nine holes without losing a disk). After playing this course, we like to walk a quarter mile down the road to Vance Park to play the second half of our game, the "back nine". When placing this geocache, we noticed there weren't any caches in Vance Park either, so finding this cache will give you the coordinates to a bonus "back nine" cache just down the street. Stretch your legs and walk to the bonus (or drive if you must).

Cache is a small blue bison tube hidden in an untraditional fashion. PLEASE return as found, entirely out of sight, and watch out for muggles and for flying disks both on and off the course. Oh, and don't go looking for this cache at night, as the park is closed after dark- this is a daytime only cache. Good luck!
