Geocache Description:

UPDATE 11/19/2020: We saw that people were trying to enjoy this as a night cache so we thought we would help out, if you want to try at night. We have added 4 small square reflectors to the outside of the cache. Take a flashlight if you want to try at night. By the comments it is obvious that you can get there without path reflectors, just follow the road/path along the water. Good Luck Day or Night :)

This is the beautiful site of an old building or home overlooking Cabin Lake. The view is outstanding. We've named it Once a Cache, Always a Cache because that is how we found this spot. Someone had a Cache here before, but we searched the area thoroughly and didn't find the Cache. The area was so cool and I loved the "Big Moose :)" You'll have to look for him yourself. HaHa. The original Cache was supposed to be hidden in the footings. This one is not. We always check back on DNF's to see if we just didn't look good enough, but this one disappeared. So we decided to put a Cache back here, because it is a must see beauty! Park at the corner, by the orange post. Walk up the hill at the survey marker and follow the old two track to the coordinates. Cache is a small 3x3 lock top, camo covered. Please wedge it well. Enjoy the Lake and the creek behind. There is a Scratch off for the FTF. :) Enjoy.
