LOOKOUT II
This cache was inspired by Gnomead’s cache " The Lookout" GC1Y4DR, which I adopted in August 2020 but archived a month later. The view that inspired The Lookout became completely obscured by trees in the 11 years it was out. This cache is not far from The Lookout but has a view that will not disappear. It’s on the open fell, up from the original Lookout footpath, on your way up to the Cunswick Scar cairn to admire the view. In good weather it's a good spot for a picnic
The suggested car park assumes you want a walk on the fell. You could park at Plumgarth's instead and take advantage of the cafe and assortment of local food suppliers.
Bring your own pen. The view was pretty dull when I placed the cache. I look forward to seeing your photos of the view from Lookout II.
