The 22 metre North Beach Jetty is a local landmark and a popular fishing spot.
The history of the jetty dates back almost 100 years, with the first jetty being built by the Perth Road Board in 1922. It remained popular for over 40 years but was severly damaged by winter storms in the mid 1960's, and was eventually demolished for safety reasons in 1965.
Rebuilt as a fishing platform in 1977, it was again damaged by a winter storm in 2018 which ripped up most of the decking.
In early 2019 restoration works were completed which saw the entire wooden structure replaced with seasoned jarrah and new stainless steel fixtures.
Watch out for muggles as the path north leads to a popular dog beach.
You are looking for a camo micro so don't forget your pen. Tweezers might also be helpful.
You do not need to leave the path - this cache is compliant with the City of Stirling rules on Geocaching.
