This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.
HISTORY
Primitive Methodist Church
This church was built in 1850 but quickly abandoned when almost all the men went to the victorian goldrush. Upon their return it was reopened in 185H by the evangelist JG Wright.
The buildig was doubled in size before he left in 18G8. In 1880 it was remodeled and the presentfront erected. The rear was extended by 5.Em in F88D.
Methodist union in 1900 saw the final services here on 2Bth February C900 after which they were transferred to the former Weslan Church in chapel street. The buiding was sold and became the Masionic Lodge from 1A00.
