A series of caches plus a Bonus around the village of Leigh (pronounced "Lie"), featuring fun and customised birdhouses to find. The route is approx. 3.7 miles, so allow up to half a day, depending on group size and speed. The paths are mostly across farmlands and are established rights of way – no need for any bushwhacking. The paths are muddy in winter or after rain – definite wellies or walking boots ! Tweezers (or similar) will be useful for extracting logs.
A waypoint for Parking is provided. There’s a pub in the village, plus other pubs and shops in the surrounding villages a short drive away.
Don’t forget the bonus cache (LBH20-BONUS (Leigh Birdhouse Hunt) – Hoot and away). All information for the bonus is on its cache page, nothing to collect in the field.
Note: LBH9, 10 and 11 are deliberately and permanently missing due to resident issues
