Sytherein is a local geocacher who is ‘retiring’ from geocaching. So, he has given much of his tools and containers away. This is one of four geocaches hidden using his containers. Actually, all final cache containers are identical. Since he uses the geocaching name of Slytherin, I thought it would nice to hide a Harry Potter series in his honor.
The four caches are a Traditional, a Multi, a Letterbox Hybrid, and a Mystery (in this order). The caches start easy and low and continue until they are difficult and high (so bring your long-armed friends). The best place to start all these caches is at the bridge mentioned in Hufflepuff. You should stay on the sidewalk over 90% of the time. You will only have to leave the sidewalk when you get close to the cache. Oh, bring a pencil. Make sure you say hello to Slytherin in your logs and let us know which Harry Potter House you would belong to.
This cache is Gryffindor. It is a simple Letterbox Hybrid Cache. If you have a stamp book and a stamp pad, bring them and stamp your book using the homemade stamp in the cache. This may be a little harder to find, but you can see it if you are standing in the right place and looking in the right direction.
