Today RLDrosophila and I visited "Stampede" for the first time. It is a great area for walkers, ORV folks, and equestrians. We thought there should be another cache here, so I placed one.
To reach Stampede ORV Area, take Plantation Road west from US 95. There is a sign at the turn leading to a large parking area. There is a vault toilet. There are a number of picnic tables, but no water, so be sure to have a supply. There is no fee. The area is DAY USE ONLY.
The cache is a small lock'n'lock type that was a prize at the 2020 Inland Empire Chapter WSGA Winter Party. In it are a log book, small pen, and some trade items. The cache is in a stump, covered with natural camo. Please be gentle as you uncover the cache, and use care in replacing it.
The coords should be good. My Samsung Galaxy S10+ and my Oregon were within one decimal on the North, and agreed perfectly on the West.
