Over the past year or so, a number of new geocachers have shown up in the CNY area. A few eager new cachers are working hard to learn how to create and place caches of all different types and sizes but now that school is open again, they have less time for geocaching. I have created this puzzle in the hopes that they will be able to get another cache soon. There is nothing located at the posted coords. Please solve the puzzles below to complete the coordinates for the final.
North coordinates: N42 50.ABC
Aidan had 50 cache containers. He gave 10 to Josh.
He gave 1/5 of the remaining containers to Dennis. This number is A.
Noah took one more than 1/4 of the number Aidan had left. This number is B.
Jeff left with 1/2 the number that Dennis had. This number is C.
West coordinates: W075 51.xxx
By September 29th, 2020 Dennis had found 38 caches. Josh had found 130 caches. Aidan had found 17 caches. Noah had found 2 caches. Jeff had not found any, but for this puzzle, I have awarded him 14 caches! Add up all the caches and multiply by 250%. and round up to the next whole number. This is xxx.
I really hope I created the right level of math in this puzzle for my new caching friends. I also hope that at least one of them will be able to get the FTF on this cache.
