IN HONOR OF OUR 100th FIND
This summer our family discovered geocaching. In September we found our 100th find, GC7TB9X, and to celebrate we went on a shopping spree to a local military surplus store. At the back of the store we found the most glorious array of ammo cans. All sizes, all shapes, from all different branches of the military. I chose this one as my prize for finding my first 100 caches. This container is from the Naval branch and was used to hold missiles. Its massive. It has 6 latches, and opens a little differently then most Ammo Cans. She's air tight. The first time we opened it, we could hear and feel the air escape. Although I imagine most finders up this way will be adults, a kid would love the contents of this cache. Cords will get you with in 10-20 feet of this cache, but really once your close just put the GPS down. It's huge and you can't miss it if you're looking around.
