St Wilfrid’s Church, Egginton is a Grade I listed parish church in the village of Egginton, Derbyshire. The present church was built around 1290 - 1300 but replaced an earlier Norman church and there is thought to have been a Saxon church on the site before that.
A brief history of the church can be found here including details of the Priest's Door and Scratch Dial. Also of note is the "wavy wall" to the south of the chuchyard; such a wall has a greater strength than a straight wall of the same thickness of bricks without the need for buttresses.
Now to the cache, this is not in the churchyard but just outside. Please be careful on the busy road. It's a bit of a stretch; please replace the cache out of sight.
