More than one way to this cache. On foot or by water. I might also mention that since the dam has been removed and hiking paths have been developed a bridge is available from the south side of the river. The cache is a Small lock and lock container covered with camo tape.
NOTE: As you will notice the pond is gone and the path is different than it was. It is still a cool place to explore. Enjoy your hike. This cache is located upstream from Brown Bridge Pond and downstream from Sheck's Place campgrounds. You may wish to either walk the path from Brown Bridge pathway which is about a mile one way, or paddle up or down the river from Brown Bridge Pond or Sheck's Place. Just maybe there is a shorter way by a road or cross country. The cross country route may be easier or more challenging than the rating. If you choose the pathway there are hundreds of steps to help you on the hill. Enjoy!!!
