We are living through strange times. As far as I am aware I am still the only person to have walked the complete coastline of England and Wales and climbed all the mountains. You can imagine therefore how frustrating lockdown is for someone who loves the outdoors so much. Garth Hill iisn't a mountain, the deninition of which is >2000ft. It is the highest point in Cardiff so I have to make do with this at present. The view from the cache is over the forbidden lands and up to the mountains.
If you want to exercise your lungs a bit I suggest parking at Taffs Well and talking the steep footpath up through Gwaelod-y-Garth and up to the Garth from there.
