Geocache Description:

Mt. Washington, placed by the "Thursday Night Afterburners" http://imapilot.home.mindspring.com/summer-hikes-2001.html

This is the first of many geocaches to be placed be a hiking group known as the "Thursday Night Afterburners" we tackle a mountain every Thursday night, rain or shine.

Welcome to Mt. Washington (Just past North Bend, off of I-90) Best view on the mountain, you are looking at a 4 hour hike roundtrip and a nasty bushwhack to get to the site. The site can be accessed from above, which will probably be easier but we did it the hard way, then hiked up the rest of the way. Cache is concealed from sight and will be difficult to find

Cache contains:

  • (1) Small stuffed teddy bear
  • (2) granola bars
  • (1) powerbar (harvest)
  • (2) chemical light sticks
