Following the disaster of Hurricane Sally in which numerous barges broke free of there mooring along the 3-mile Bridge I decided to create 2 caches this one and The Hurricane Hotel (GC90R57).
Throughout history barges have played a crucial role in coastal communities. This cache will honor that history by paying tribute to one of the most legendary barges in history: Roman Emperor Caligula's Party Barges.
