This is a water cache on a wonderful wildlife pond. There is sign of beaver activity, plenty of turtles, herons, and I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a frequenting eagle! I just couldn't put the thought of my kayak being put away yet for the year. So I figured it was an opportunity to put a few more paddle caches out for the late season paddlers to enjoy. Don't forget after Oct. 1 you as a paddler in Ct are required to wear your PFD. Just a reminder also that this year iCt is still experiencing a major drought so water levels are lower than normal. Its starting to be a pretty time of the year to enjoy beautiful colors reflecting off the water. Enjoy the adventure.
