This is a water cache on a wonderful wildlife pond. There is sign of beaver activity, plenty of turtles, herons, and I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a frequenting eagle! I just couldn't put the thought of my kayak being put away yet for the year. So I figured it was an opportunity to put a few more paddle caches out for the late season paddlers to enjoy. Don't forget after Oct. 1 you as a paddler in Ct are required to wear your PFD. Just a reminder also that this year Ct is still experiencing a major drought so water levels are lower than normal. Its starting to be a pretty time of the year to enjoy beautiful colors reflecting off the water. All caches are camoed pill bottles wired into place so as to hopefully stay in place longer and better. Please do everything you can to keep the logs dry and reseal baggies well before putting them back. Please remember you are under no obligation to go after any of these caches. Enjoy the adventure.
