This cache is placed for the Community Celebration BTSF event on October 17. As I have walked the Stowe Recreation Path west of Weeks Hill Road, I have often noticed this little shrine, accessed by a side trail a very short distance of the Rec Path. There is a box next to the shrine which occasionally holds information pamphlets, but there were none in the box when I placed the cache.
The cache is a small lock&lock, and will not be winter friendly. Please park at the posted parking coordinates for the Mayo Farm Event Field, and not at the Swimming Hole. as it is private property with parking only for its members.
