Geocache Description:

****  Below you will find the original description, parts of which are no longer accurate as , after having two plastic crows that hosted the log go missing, I have opted for a less conspicous container which will hopefully not be noticed by the muggles which frequent the area ****

I  like  going to simple to find caches that bring me to a place that I really enjoy because  I didn't know that it existed, it has a great story/history,  or the view is fantastic .  This cache falls into the  latter category and sadly there are more beef cattle than humans that get to drink in this fantastic view  on a day to day basis.  My first inclination was to name this cache Holy Cow - What a Magnificent View !  but the stars aligned toward Crow and one of the reasons will be clear to you once you get to GZ.  Another reason would be the group of 3 crows that I witnessed on a visit,  loudly cawing,  and harassing a predatory bird.

Being a curious person, I wondered  where the phrase "Holy Crow" had its origins so , of course, I Googled it.  Turns out that it evolved from "Holy Cow" which does have  links to Hindu beliefs but was popularized by baseball sports broadcasters.

This cache is located on Old Springhill Road.  I suggest that you enter from Prospect St. and once you find the cache , you turn around and go back the same way as the section of the road that goes west  to join Woodstock Rd. is not maintained and in the winter is not even ploughed.  The view is fantastic, however, in every season .

Stealth may be required as,  both on a scouting visit and on  the day I placed the cache, there were cars  parked  in the general area of GZ.  BYOP and please extract the log  from the container without removing it from its spot.

Have fun and try to visit lots of Fall Favorite 2020 caches as the owners will truly appreciate it!
