My Shamona Traditional Cache
pwelsh: Visited the site today and found nothing, including the big dead log that was across the stream. I'm fairly certain that the ammo can is somewhere downstream, but based on the massive amounts of rain we had earlier this fall, the potential area where it could be is huge.
Also hid a new cache in the park, which should be coming on line soon. Thanks to all who sent information about the recent events. Pwelsh

This cache is located in Shamona Creek park, off of the Uwchlan trail. Not too far from “Uwchlan Trail” and “ActionCache.” Shamona Creek Park has two entrances: Peck road (baseball field) and Dowlin Forge road (soccer fields). Either entrance is good – the cache is on the soccer field side of the creek and closer to that entrance.
Cache is located in woods behind the soccer field. The creek is in there and will keep the kids occupied while you are looking for the cache near the base of a fallen tree.
Cache initial contents: box of altoids, light up space pen, STK lanyard, some PA state park maps, foam boomerang, mini American flag, math puzzles book, air pump, kaleidoscope, plastic snake, deck of cards, space software CDs, plastic arrow heads, and a few dollar bills. (It’s a big ammo box). There is a camera too, so please take your picture and leave the camera.
