Geocaching is an activity that the BSA promotes through the Merit Badge program. Through this the Scouts can explore this hobby and learn more about Geocaching. This property is owned by the BSA, Laurel Highlands Council. The Scouts asked that I place the cache before the gate due to youth protection guidelines.
I have never found a cache like this but I have heard about them and wanted to join the fun. Bring your own pen.
Be careful - Route 51 is a busy road with a Speed limit of 55 MPH in this area. The cache is more than 15' off the road no need to search along the road. Keep kids under a very close eye.
I do have permission for this cache. There are no trespassing signs but you do not need to pass them. Nor do we have permission to.
Congrats to Papazulu on the first to find!
