As I became more serious about geocaching, I noticed that many pro hiders often hide a series of geocaches. Often times, these series are in a straight line, along the same road, trail, or path, all in an effort to provide easy, quality, and a dense number of finds for other geocachers. When I first saw one of these on the map, I instantly wanted to find them, and later, hide such a series myself!
The minimum hiding distance between 2 geocaches is 0.1 miles. When a string of these is hidden along a map, they look like a snake - a geosnake! That is the inspiration for this series. I hope to hide a geosnake along the length of the Delta De Anza Regional Trail! This is the 13th installation in that series, which will expand as I hide more along the trail. Most of them are micros, but around every 5th hide, there will be a larger container filled with swag and goodies! The container is a micro pill bottle. Enjoy!
