Here's another geocache in my series based on The Princess Bride.
Westley and Buttercup are on the run from Prince Humperdink. They see the prince and his men following them from atop the ravine so they run into the Fire Swamp.
[Westley rescues Buttercup from a pit of lightning sand]
Buttercup: [recovering] We'll never succeed — we may as well die here.
Westley: No. No. We have already succeeded. I mean, what are the three terrors of the Fire Swamp? One, the flame spurts. No problem. There's a popping sound preceding each, we can avoid that. Two, the Lightning Sand. But you were clever enough to discover what that looks like, so in the future, we can avoid that too.
Buttercup: Westley, what about the R.O.U.S.'s?
Westley: Rodents of Unusual Size? I think they don't exist. [an R.O.U.S. attacks him on cue.]
Since there aren't any trail maps posted, the easiest approach is to start on the paved trail with overlooks of the river. The pavement will end but keep going and you will find the trail that will take you to the geocache which is only a short distance off the trail. Be safe, have fun, and please return the container back where you found it.
