This cache is hidden in one of my favorite areas to visit. A great place to get back to nature and away from the urban noise. Note that the Sanctuary is only open during daylight hours..
The container itself is regular in size and houses a logbook, pen, and a few cheapy trinkets for trade. Getting to it does require some hiking, about 4 or 5 miles roundtrip, but it's an easy hike because of the well maintained and flat trail.
Being that this is inside the preserve, be sure to watch for various wildlife that you may end up coming across. A whitetail grunted at me when I went to place this cache today. Didn't see any today but yes, there's always a chance you'll see a snake or some other creepy crawlies out there. As per usual when out in the woods, just watch where you're walking and sticking your hands.
Not much else to add except that I did call the Preserve Manager to make sure that permission was still granted.
