Unfortunately, my Mt. Molly summit cache, (GC5QKPH) - The way it used to be ...... Ammo Can, was bulldozed as a logging spur was constructed to the summit. I brought along a 50 cal. ammo can as a replacement not knowing the actual conditions at the top. There was no hope in recovering the cache or placing one nearby as the landscape has been severely logged. I made the decision to archive the cache and look for another spot below. I decided to place this along the Waddell Basin West Trail about a quarter mile from Capital Forest Gazebo (GCP7TP).
