There is room for a few more caches in the beautiful Spraggs Bush ...on the Scenic Drive In West Auckland so here goes !
This cache not actually at the very interesting small cemetery, but a little further along the track .
This wee cemetery was established in in the 1860's ...before Waikumete Cemetery !
Most of the folk buried here were members of the Bethells , Colebrook and Russell families.
It was known for it's picteuresque Fern Covered Graves....It was closed in the early 1900s.
Back to the Cache Description.....You don't need to leave the track....Down low... GL...between two or 3 ferny headless trees ...
Rummage around; and recover with natural ferny foliage please!
Plenty of good parking here just off side of Scenic Drive .
