The path moves further away from the salt marshland. Look out for deer while walking from the 'Viewpoint' cache to the 'Dunlin' cache at the new WWT hide. A keen eye can usually spot one.
The hedgerows also provide a good habitat for birds; providing cover, and insects for food in summer and berries and seeds through the Autumn and Winter. See how many different species of shrub you can find in this stretch of hedgerow.
The cache is a screwcap round 250ml container, big enough for small exchanges and a Travel Bug or two. You do not need to leave the path, but need to reach, preferably with gloves, or carefully without.
The next hand sanitiser station is at the hide near the Steart Marshes - Dunlin cache.
Please see Steart Marshes - Willow (GC6RFH6) for full details.
Please note that all caches have been placed with permission from WWT Steart Marshes and The Environment Agency.
