Cache is near Wind Rock, past Mountain Lake Resort on Salt Pond Mtn.
From US 460, turn onto Rte. 700 and follow the signs up to Mountain Lake Resort. Pass the resort and stay on Hwy. 613 (soon becomes gravel) for about 5 miles. You will pass Miniball Hill on the left and shortly thereafter will arrive at a parking area. The parking area is on the left (coming from the resort); the trailhead is across the road, next to the guide sign.
The cache is along this trail, past Wind Rock (great view). Use caution near the cache, as there are quite a few loose rocks. Cache is a "standard" Rubbermaid container. Original contents were log book, several pencils, a toy car, a box of crayons, a box of waterproof matches, a pair of dice, and 15 multicolored golf tees. If you take a pencil, make sure you don't take the sharpened one - it's for the log!
