Geocache Description:

While out for a Sunday drive, I decided to check out this road to see not only where it went, but to see if it still went where it used to.  It didn't.  On the way back, I spotted a place and thought "Someone should put a cache there".  I pulled over and checked the iPhone and found that no one had, and there might indeed be room for one.  I reached behind the seat and grabbed a suitable container and placed it in a findable spot.
Before I returned to the cachemobile, I looked around and considered what I might name this cache.  Titles like "OK View", "Same Old Host" and "Beside The Road" came to mind, but these mundane descriptors just didn't provide much inspiration. As my grandmother would tell me when I was very young, this was a real puckersnatch.
The word "puckersnatch" had not popped into my head for decades, and I wasn't sure if it was indeed a word, but I had an option not available in the '60s when I first heard it.  I Googled "puckersnatch", and found that it was indeed used somewhere once upon a time, though how my Grandmother picked it up, I'm not sure. Most importantly, it fit the context for my dilemma neatly.  So, thanks Gran, for the memory today, and for the cache name.
