Background
Fasanviertel, the area between the botanical garden, Schweizergarten and the S-Bahn Stammstrecke is a neighborhood in Vienna with a rich history, that can be experienced on Wikipedia. Although the Fasanlwirt, which gave the neighborhood its name, no longer exists, time marches on in the famed streets. You will find a mix of new and old buildings and quite many of them carry some form of decoration. These decorations will tell you something about a famous person, an event or maybe they just serve to make you ponder the meaning of life for a few seconds.
As early as the interwar period, the “Red Vienna” began to systematically attach art (the colorful mosaics and reliefs) to house walls and courtyards. The underlying aim was to make contemporary art accessible to people “who don't have the money to go to the museum on the Ringstrasse”.
Famous Austrian painters and sculptors laid the foundation stone of their careers with works for municipal housing, such as Hans Staudacher, Alfred Hrdlicka and Fritz Wotruba. They often created these works of art out of financial emergency, as can be read in the "Lexicon of Vienna Municipal Housing". Many residents were and are not aware that famous artists created the works they walk past every day! How does it work?
This photo multicache will bring you to building decorations in the area. Follow the red line indicated on the map, this is a short tour through Fasanviertel. Your goal is to organize images A-P in the right order and assign a number to each letter. Example: if photo K is the 1st decoration you encounter K = 1, etc. Elements can be found in front and behind you, so look carefully!

Einleitung
Fasanviertel ist ein Wiener Grätzl zwischen Schweizer Garten, Botanischer Garten und S-Bahn Stammstrecke. Es hat eine reiche Geschichte, die man auf Wikipedia oder Wien Geschichte Wiki erleben kann. Obwohl es das glorreiche Gasthaus Fasanlwirt leider nicht mehr gibt, gibt es noch immer gute Gründe um Fasanviertel zu besuchen. Du wirst eine interessante Misschung von Alt- und Neubau treffen und viele von diese, tragen vielfaltige Dekorationselemente. Oft erzählen die etwas von der Geschichte der Gasse, ein berühmtes Person oder vielleicht sind sie nur da, um mal kurz nachzudenken über der Sinn des Lebens. Über Geschmack lässt sich nicht straiten, aber du wirst bestimmt deine Favorite haben. Lass es uns wissen, in deinem Log.
Schon in der Zwischenkriegszeit wurde vom „Roten Wien“ damit begonnen, Kunst (Mosaiken und Reliefs) systematisch an Hauswänden und in den Innenhöfen anzubringen. Dahinter stand der Anspruch, zeitgenössische Kunst Menschen zugänglich zu machen, „die nicht das Geld haben, auf der Ringstraße ins Museum zu gehen“.
Berühmte österreichische Maler und Bildhauer legten den Grundstein ihrer Karriere mit Werken für die Gemeindebauten, wie etwa Hans Staudacher, Alfred Hrdlicka und Fritz Wotruba. Die Kunstwerke schufen sie oft aus einer finanziellen Notlage heraus, wie im „Lexikon der Wiener Gemeindebauten“ nachzulesen ist. Diesen Bildermulti führt entlang verschiedene dekorative Gebäude-Elementen in Fasanviertel. Der roten Linie ist einen kurzen Tour durch das Grätzl. Ziel ist um Bilder A bis P in die richtige Reihenfolge zu organisieren, damit jedem Buchstabe eine Nummer hat. Zum Beispiel: wann Bild K, das erste Element ist, dann K = 1, usw. Pass gut auf, weil die Elemente auch hinten dir sein könnten!

Storia
Il quartiere Fasan, area tra l’orto botánico, Schweizergarten e Stammstrecke e’ un vicinato di Vienna ricco di storia, che puo`essere rivissuta su Wikipedia. Nonostante il ristorante Fasanlwirt che ha dato il nome al quartiere non esista piu`, le stagioni passano in queste famose strade. Troverete un misto di edifici vecchi e nuovi, molti dei quali caratterizzati da delle speciali decorazioni. Questi graffiti e bassorilievi rappresentano persone famose, eventi o magari fungono da spunto per le vostre riflessioni.
Fin dal periodo tra le guerre mondiali, la “Vienna Rossa” ha iniziato ad applicare decorazioni artistiche sulle pareti di case e cortili, con lo scopo di rendere l’arte moderna accessibile a chi non poteva permettersi un museo.
Famosi pittori ed artista Viennesi hanno dato il la` alla loro carriera con lavori sulle case municipali, come Hans Staudacher, Alfred Hrdlicka and Fritz Wotruba. Hanno spesso creato queste decorazioni per emergenza finanziaria, come puo`essere letto nel “Lexicon of Vienna Municipal Housin”. Molti residenti non erano e non sono coscienti del fatto che artisti famosi hanno creato le decorazioni davanti alle quali passano ogni giorno! Come funziona?
Questa multi vi portera`attraverso le decorazioni murales nel quartiere. Seguite la línea rossa indicata nella mappa. Il vostro obiettivo e`mettere le immagini A-P nell’ordine corretto e assegnare un numero a ciascuna lettera. Per esempio: se la foto K e`la prima che incontrate, K=1 etc. Le decorazioni possono essere trovate sia davanti che dietro di voi nel percorso, quindi voltatevi ad osservare!
