Back in the day when I was just a young whippersnap in caching age, I saw the original posting of Horsin' Around. It was a traditional cache: nothing tricky, something put together to please the young horsewomen among us. I went to find it (the general area is that of the original Chapman Montana homesteads, so that trip was multi-purposed) but someone had beat me to it. The cache was soon archived, but there was always something in the back of my mind that I should--well, do something about it, to bring more cachers joy.
So this is that sometime. Inspired by Danero1919's Reborn caches, I planted a cache north of the old site with some local Girl Scouts and knitter_bug this spring (see Rock Climbers' Delight) and have intended to return for this one. Last week's heavy snow made me appreciate the weather this week, so muggle hubbie and I took off yesterday on one of those "trips in the blue," and I found that "sweet spot" that the earlier planter must have used. Again the cache--simple, hopefully muggle safe but cacher findable--has taken its rightful place.
You may struggle a bit with coords; I tried to have an accurate reading but this corner has been a bit contrary and continues to be so. Use your geoeyes, therefore, and you shouldn't have any issues.
The cache is one of my new favorite sorts (if you have done Mountain Goat's Delight or McMaster's Reborn, you know what I mean); it contains a Maker patch, a FTF mini-coin, and a Maker TB. Tuck something in and make the trade, then be sure to replace accurately.
