TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken, 1920.
The wood's not yellow as I write this in late September, but will be soon. Which road will you choose? There are several, all of them great walks. The area is dog-friendly, but you may encounter horses, and this is a hunting area, so use extreme caution during deer season.
The easy parking lot is at N 42 12.234, W 72 7.77, but if you're looking for a longer walk (~ a mile each way), try approaching from the west, starting at N 42 12.911, W 72 8.545. (Parking at the western end is a little tight- one car can fit near the gate- just be sure to leave enough space for horses to navigate around the gate. There is a large field several hundred yards north (N 42 13.052 W 72 8.564) with plenty of space for parking).
