On Monday 9th November 2020 we met with the Katikati Girl Guides to talk about geocaching, so we have placed this cache in honour of them.
Its good to show appreciation to the owner for hiding the cache but just putting TFTC (thanks for the cache) is disappointing to read. A good log tells about your adventure finding the cache (or not finding it!) and lets the owner know if it's in good condition or needs maintenance. We like to see photos too, but be careful not to say or show exactly where the cache is hidden or what it looks like ('spoilers'). We look forward to reading about your adventures.

The posted coords will take you to Diggelmann Park on the main street of Katikati.
Although there's no signboard or plaque to explain the log, we believe it commemorates the kauri milling history of the area.
Please be very stealthy in retrieving and replacing this cache as there are likely to be 'muggles' nearby in the playground or having a picnic. You are looking for a magnetic mint tin. It only contains a log sheet so please bring your own pen.
