Another park in Rapid City. Roosevelt Park is one of the oldest parks in the area. My goal is to get a cache in every park in Rapid City, this one is located in North rapid. When I was very young my parents rented a house less than a block away from this park I grew up here I’ve fell on the 30 foot metal slide that would burn your butt if you went down on it when it was too hot and I got my first stitches from this park, my good friend pushed me off the rock wall when it was quite a bit higher at the back entrance. And I’ve got many of my pictures taken here from playing Little League baseball in the field just west of the cache location . The park has changed a lot over the years but the solitude that you can experience walking through and enjoying the trees and the flowers are still here. Happy hunting
