Ballard Park is a beautiful sweep of lawn, frequently hosting summer concerts on its stage at the bottom of the hill. In the winter, it hosts an ice rink and sledding down the hill. There is also a war memorial on the south side of the park, where a well-kept garden holds benches, a sundial, and a list of names to honor the people of Westport who fought in our country's wars. Names date back to the Revolutionary War, as well as all those that followed. Enjoy a walk in the park, whatever the season!
