Geocache Description:

Pleasant Mountain is located in both Bridgton and Denmark.  It is southern Maine's tallest mountain , at 2006 ft, which makes it a popular place to hike.  This cache is hidden at the top of Pleasant Mountain's summit, which is the north side of the mountain.  There are several ways to reach this summit, but I prefer just hiking up the ski area.  During ski season you will have to take an alternate route or take the chairlift up.  The Bald Peak Trail also brings you to the summit,  but at the junction take a right onto Sue's way.  At the top of Sue's way there is a right turn that takes you out to Upper Appalachian trail that leads you to the summit.   The cache is a small camo cylinder bison hook capsule hanging about 5 or so feet up in a cluster of birch trees.  It is a short distance down Sunset BLVD, not far from the summit.  It is to the left right before Haggett's ski sign.  The cache is on the left side of the trail, heading down, and you need to step over a snow making pipe..it is close to the snowmaking pipe.
