Geocache Description:

《English》
It is unknown when the Toake Shrine was built, but it is said that it was relocated to this area in the latter half of the Muromachi period (around 1530).
Here, it enshrines "Ame no Tajikarao no Okami" and "Ame no Koyane no Okami", both of whom were instrumental in the myth of Ama no Iwato, as the main deities of the shrine.
"Ame no Koyane no Okami" is the god of beautiful voice who gave a congratulatory speech in front of the Iwato, where "Amaterasu Omikami" was hidden, and "Ame no Tajikarao no Okami" is the god who has the power to open the Iwato. It has been revered since ancient times as a god of good luck because it enshrines the gods who worked hard to open the Iwato.
